Recent works in forged iron are semi abstract standing figures and subjective abstract pieces. The techniques are those of the blacksmith and use the forge, anvil, hammer and a wide range of forging tools to work combinations of new and recycled iron into completely original forms. Larger work is forged, welded and burnished stainless steel, as the public sculptures in Rufford Country Park and St John's Square, Scunthorpe. Youth Arts Projects in Grantham, Grimsby and Mansfield have produced sculptural pieces in stainless steel, old iron tools and farm parts and in coloured car body metal.  Monumentality and new combinations of materials are themes being explored in conjunction with the development of forged sculpture.  Garden sculpture and architectural ironwork use spirals, scrolls and plant details to add strength and functionality to vertical sculptural elements.  Great platters echo the asymetric patterns of spirals developed for grilles and combine with shoals of forged iron fishes.

. The latest project titled 'Tiger Country' is an allegorical run of railings and gates, dozens of sculptural figures standing in a jungle of trees ans plant, animal and bird details.
